We are working on an alternative cultural, and in that sense it is a political project. There will not be peace in the world as long there is war in love. And there will be an ecological way of living, only once people understand and accept their inner nature and learn to share it.
The suppressive and consumer/substitute culture of the welfare countries is responsible for the current state of the planet. That makes the development of a satisfying, conscious and responsible way of living a key political issue. Commitment to both environmental (outer) questions and inner human questions need to be addressed with the same process of decision-making and creativity. Developing such ideas requires a place to conduct research, test applications, and teach. These places need residents, who have the safety and space to examine unconventional ideas. They need visitors who join in, learn, share their own experiences, and return to their homes as enriched evolved individuals. We are such a place. |
